Laugavegur Ultra Marathon 2010 is nearby and preparation is in full swing. Runners received an e-mail yesterday with few questions from the organizers that they are requested to answer. The runners in the Laugavegur Ultra Marathon 2010 will be divided into three start groups. Runner can request to be in a group with his/hers running partner. The request has to come from both runners.

An official race bus will drive the runners from Reykjavik to the start of the race in Landmannalaugar and back to Reykjavik from Thorsmork. Runners that want to use the race bus will have to order a seat by sending an e-mail to the organizers. Further information about the bus can be found here.

On the way from Reykjavik to the start in Landmannalaugar the bus will stop in Hrauneyjar for 30 minutes. In Hrauneyjar it will be possible to buy breakfast for 750 ISK. It is estimated that the bus will arrive at 6:45 in Hrauneyjar and leave at 7:15. Arrival time in Landmannalaugar is 8:30.
