    All runners registered for the Islandsbanki Reykjavik Marathon can run for a good cause. Collection of donations takes place on the web hlaupastyrkur.is. In 2016 runners collected more than 90 million ISK for 167 different charities. Click here for further information.

At the Reykjavik Marathon web-store you can buy some nice clothing from Under Armour with the 2016 Íslandsbanki Reykjavik Marathon logo. These products will be for sale until July 17th 2016. All orders can be picked up at the Íslandsbanki Reykjavik Marathon EXPO on August 18th-19th 2016. It is also possible to get the products sent by mail if delivery fee is paid. Registration in full swing

The 33rd Íslandsbanki Reykjavik Marathon will take place on Saturday August 20th 2016. Registration for the race is now in full swing. 6.500 participants have already registered for the race, 18% more than same date last year.

Registered runners are 3.100 from other countries than Iceland. The runners coming from abroad are from 75 different nationalities. Most of the international runners are from USA, 950 registered runners. Second most are from UK, 480 runners, and third most from Canada, 360 runners.

We recommend that you register soon, the entry fee will rise at midnight on Sunday July 3rd.
