Race map 2017

In the Reykjavik Marathon, you can choose between five distances. Here you can see maps of the routes.

Fun run - map
10 km race - map
Half marathon (21,1 km) - map
Marathon (42,2 km) - map
Kids Marathon - map

Note that routes might change from year to year.

The marathon route will be marked on the ground with spray paint and other distances with signs. Distances in km will be marked with signs along the route. Unfortunately, the routes are not completely closed for car traffic so runners are kindly asked to be careful.

The marathon and the half marathon is one lap (except for the last part of the marathon, as it goes nearly the same route as in the beginning of the race). The 10 km is only the first part of the marathon course.

Both refreshment stations and toilets are available along the course and at the start and finish area. The location is marked on the map. See also further information under service.
